There are several rules and requirements to be able to bring a Service Animal or Pet into Abu Dhabi and the United Arab Emirates.

It is recommended that you check all requirements for United Arab Emirates and any other country you are travelling to or from before booking a flight, you should also contact your airline in advance.

Zayed International Airport has an Animal Relief Area in Departures where your assistance animal or pet can go to the toilet before a flight or during transit, it is located within the toilet facilities area, near Todd English restaurant, towards C Gates. Please note it is the owner’s responsibility to clear up after their animal or pet, toilet bags for picking up, and a bin for disposal are provided, as is a shower for rinsing down the area.
