Guided by the Abu Dhabi Comprehensive Strategy for People of Determination and working closely with our airline partners, we offer tailored support throughout the airport journey. Departing Guests
Special Assistance desks near check-in; porters can help from drop-off, taxi, or bus areas.
Transfers
Assistance team meets you at the aircraft and guides you to your connecting flight.
Non Pre-Booked Assistance
If you haven’t pre-booked, approach Special Assistance staff or a desk on the day of travel. Cabin crew can also help on arrival.
Arriving Guests
Assistance desk before passport control or approach any team member in arrivals.
Dedicated Support
Our Special Assistance desks are located in the pre-check-in area and throughout the airport to provide immediate support.
Mobility & Wheelchair Services
Airport wheelchairs and personal wheelchair handling are available, and aisle chairs Ambulift support are provided for boarding when needed.
Priority & Accessibility Features
Low-level Check-In and Passport Control desks are available, along with priority lanes for Special Assistance guests, People of Determination and families travelling with young children. Hidden Disability Sunflower Lanyards are available from Special Assistance desks on request. Dedicated seating areas, lifts, terminal buggy services and accessible toilet facilities are located throughout the airport. Porter services and accessible taxis are available on request.

Passengers travelling with service or guide dogs are welcome at Zayed International Airport. Assistant dogs must be certified and accompanied by the appropriate documentation, and Special Assistance staff can guide you and your service dog through check-in, passport control, and to your aircraft. Please inform your airline in advance if you are travelling with a service dog.
The Pet Relief area is located in Departures toward pier C, between Pink and Burberry.

Drop-Off (Departures)
Dedicated accessible drop-off spaces are available near entrance doors 3 and 7, with marked accessible bays for taxis and private vehicles to ensure easy access to the terminal.
Parking
Short-term accessible parking is available close to lifts and pedestrian bridges, providing easy access to Special Assistance desks.
Pick-Up (Arrivals)
Accessible parking spaces are available for pick-up, and staff can arrange accessible taxis upon request. Passengers may also pre-book accessible taxis via +971 600 535353 or the Abu Dhabi Taxi App.
Pre-Booking
We strongly recommend requesting wheelchair assistance through your airline at the time of booking, or at least 48 hours before your flight, to ensure all arrangements are in place.

Allow extra time for check-in and security procedures to ensure a relaxed and unhurried experience.
