If you have a layover that requires you to exit the airport, you may need to collect your baggage and re-check it, depending on your visa and customs requirements.

For Connecting Flights

For passengers with connecting flights booked under a single ticket (or with partner airlines), your luggage is typically transferred automatically between aircraft. This means you will not need to collect and re-check your bags in Abu Dhabi. You can proceed directly to your next departure gate. Always confirm with your airline at the point of origin that your baggage has been tagged to your final destination.

City Check-In Services

Maximise your time in Abu Dhabi with our convenient City Check-in services, provided by Morafiq Aviation Services.

Morafiq allows you to check in your baggage and receive your boarding pass at a dedicated facility in the city, well before your flight. You can drop your bags anytime between 4 and 24 hours prior to your departure.
